Israel: children under 11 will not be vaccinated without FDA approval

Head of Public Health Sharon Elroy-Price confirmed that Israel will postpone the vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 years and will wait for approval from the Food Sanitary Inspectorate and US Medicines (FDA). Elroy-Price announced this on the radio Galei IDF.

“We are waiting for approval from the regulatory authorities,” she said.

According to Elroy-Price, vaccination of small children are different from the revaccination that Israel began long before FDA approval.

The vaccine company Pfizer previously announced that the vaccine is safe for children aged 5-11.
