Israel: UN investigation into Operation Wall Guard is unfair
Israel will not cooperate with the UN Human Rights Commission to investigate Operation Wall Guardian.
The relevant statement was made on Thursday, 17 February.
In Israel, the accusations of so-called abuses against the Palestinians, which are mentioned in the investigation, were called unfair.
“It is obvious to my country, as to any impartial observer that there is simply no reason to believe that Israel will receive reasonable, fair and non-discriminatory treatment from the Council or from this Commission of Inquiry,” — Israeli Ambassador to the UN and International Organizations in Geneva, Meirav Eilon Shahar, said.
