Israel to host first NFT auction

The first auction will be held in Israel, which will feature works in the NFT format – non-fungible tokens.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the auction will take place on 30 May, it is organized by the auction house Tiroche from Herzliya. The event is dedicated to contemporary art and will be held in cooperation with famous art galleries from all over the country.
A total of 120 works – both NFTs and traditional works – will go under the hammer. Those who wish to purchase NFTs at the auction will be able to do this by paying with cryptocurrency or in shekels and dollars.
