The agreement allows Israel to integrate into various types of cooperation in research and science, and strengthen commercial and economic cooperation in the field of space with signatory countries.

The main goal of the Artemis program, complex and expensive in NASA programs, — land humans on the moon as early as 2025, and later even establish a permanent manned research station. Israel became the 15th country to join the program.
