Israel is on the threshold of a new wave of coronavirus, as stated by the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Professor Nachman Esh.
According to him, the Ministry of Health recorded a significant rising incidence.
“I think we can call it a new wave,” Ash said, adding that the BA.5 sub-variant is similar to the Omicron variant from which it evolved in severity and speed spread of the infection.
4,931 new cases of COVID-19 were registered on Saturday
