After the ceasefire, Home Front Command announced that it would gradually lift security restrictions placed on Israelis living near Gaza as Israel returned to normal.
At the first stage, all roads were unblocked, and trains to Sderot and Ashkelon were supposed to run from noon.
The home front said they would consider lifting additional restrictions during the day, monitoring the situation closely.
Checkpoints between Gaza and Israel are due to open at 9 am for humanitarian purposes only, and the IDF has said more people will be let through if the situation remains calm.
