Israel postpones deportation of Palestinian lawyer

< p>

Israel has yet to deport Palestinian lawyer Salah Hammouri to France. There will be no deportation, at least until a Tel Aviv court makes a decision, according to the Times of Israel.

So far, no decision has been made. The next hearing has been scheduled for January 1, one of Hammouri's lawyers said. Until then, Hammouri will remain in Israeli custody.

Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked announced last week that she would deport Hammouri as soon as possible. He is accused of being a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a terrorist organization.
