Israel confirms fifth case of monkeypox

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that the fifth case of monkeypox infection was detected in the country.
The patient is a 30-year-old man who traveled abroad . He entered the hospital "Ichilov" with symptoms resembling monkeypox. The diagnosis was confirmed after laboratory tests.
The Ministry of Health stressed that they are monitoring information about monkeypox around the world. Also, the Israeli Ministry of Health is in contact with the health authorities of different countries.
The Israeli Ministry of Health called on everyone who developed a fever and a blistering rash and who returned from abroad or had contact with a person who is suspected of having the disease, – contact the doctors.
