Israel and the US Department of Homeland Security have initiated a joint cyber program to increase infrastructure resilience.

< br /> The two countries have stated that they will seek to invest in joint projects involving companies or companies and universities with institutions (one institution each from Israel and the US).
Projects will focus on innovative technologies in four areas: secure architecture to protect core operational processes; real-time risk assessment solutions for small and medium-sized airports or seaports; resiliency center pilot projects for SMBs and enterprises; and advanced data fusion and analytics.< br /> < br /> BIRD Cyber, an Israeli-US bilateral industrial research and development program, is reportedly offering grants of up to $1.5 million per project to “fund up to 50% of the research and development budget.”
