Irina Muravyova: I was ashamed of the film “The most charming and attractive”

People's Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the State Prize of the USSR Irina Muravyova said that she was dissatisfied with the painting "The most charming and attractive" 1985 directed by Gerald Bezhanov, according to Russian media.

In the film, the actress played the main role, playing the engineer of the design bureau of the Research Institute Nadya Klyueva, who has a maximum of social life, but a minimum of personal life, although she is already over 30.

According to Irina Muravyova, when she was offered the script for this film, “she immediately refused it”: “I wanted something new, new forms, and here is some kind of design bureau, the heroine wants to get married, and directly, openly talks about it. I thought it was so embarrassing. Probably because I was already married, I had two children, everything was fine with me.

It also seemed awkward to the actress that girls want to be the most charming and attractive in order to get married. According to Muravyova, she agreed to the role because she had no other job, and the director was very insistent.

I like. As soon as the picture “The Most Charming and Attractive” was mentioned in my presence, my face immediately turned red, I was so ashamed of this film. I was tormented why I agreed, I didn’t want to, I was right, & ndash; said the actress.

She added that it wasn't until years later that she decided to watch the film.

“I started watching. And I enjoyed it so much! I loved this movie so much! All this suggests that you should not take life so seriously. You have to be serious, but not like me”, – concluded Irina Muravyova.
