On Monday, August 22, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was killed in Syria.
A senior IRGC officer who served as a senior military adviser in the city of Isfahan was killed.
According to Iran International, he was liquidated in Aleppo. Brigadier General Abolfazal Alijani, a senior officer of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed. The details of his death are being investigated.
