Iranian media spread fake fire at IDF base

Iranian media falsely claimed that a fire had broken out at an Israel Defense Forces base near Jerusalem on Saturday.

These reports appeared just a few hours later after two explosions at the Malek Ashtar base in Tehran became known, The Jerusalem Post reported.

Iranian state-owned Press TV, citing Palestinian sources, falsely reported a fire at the IDF base. Iranians began to share photos of the “fire at the IDF base” on social networks with the hashtag “Israel on fire.” br /> In fact, several fires broke out in Israel today, but they are not related to the IDF bases.

For example, a fire broke out in an electrical goods store in Jerusalem. Another fire broke out in an open area in the Upper Galilee.
