Iranian lawmakers urged judiciary to “resolutely investigate” with the perpetrators of the riots.

Massive anti-government demonstrations erupted in September after the death of a young Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini, who was detained by the vice police. This is reported by the Jerusalem Post.

“We ask the judiciary to take decisive action against the perpetrators of these crimes and all those who helped in the commission of crimes and provoked riots,” the statement says 227 deputies from Iran's 290-seat parliament.

The activist news agency HRANA reported that as of Saturday, 318 protesters, including 49 minors, had been killed in the riots. 38 members of the security forces were also killed.
