 Iranian girl beaten to death for torn photo of Khomeini

An Iranian girl in high school was beaten to death after police found a torn photo of Iran's former supreme leader Ruhollah Khomeini in one of her school textbooks.

Jerusalem reports Post, citing the Iranian press.

A girl named Parmis Hamnava was at her school in Iranshahr in Sistan and Balochistan province when security forces entered the school for searches.

By According to the Haalvsh portal, the security forces severely beat the girl in front of other students, after which she died from her wounds in the hospital. The incident is said to have occurred last week.

The Tasnim news agency, affiliated with the IRGC, denied the report, stating that there was no such student in the Iranian education system and that no student was killed in Iranshahr.
