Fans of the Iranian football club “Sepahan” waved the Ukrainian flag in support of the people of Ukraine during a friendly match with St. Petersburg “Zenith”.

The meeting took place on February 17 at the Naqsh-e-Jahan Stadium ; in Iranian Isfahan and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the local team.
During the match of the third round of the World Cup between the national teams of Iran and the USA in November 2022, an Iranian fan also waved the flag of Ukraine on the podium.
