Iranian authorities have executed a man accused of allegedly stabbing two security personnel during anti-regime protests. This is reported by the Iranian media. The execution was carried out publicly as “a tribute to the security forces.” This is the second executed participant of the current protests. The first one was hanged about four days ago. Human rights activists in Iran say more than 12 citizens have been sentenced to death in closed hearings. At least 488 people have been killed since the protests broke out about three months ago.
