A mention of Hitler appeared on the synagogue wall in New York

In New York, unknown people wrote the word “Hitler” in paint on the wall of the synagogue. Local council member Inna Vernikov said the inscription was first noticed by Rabbi Asher Altshul.

“There are Holocaust survivors who visit this community, and after the atrocities they saw during World War II, now they should come to a synagogue in the United States of America in 2022 and see Hitler mentioned on the wall,” Vernikova said.

Scene footage shows the German dictator's name painted on a brick wall .

The Anti-Defamation League said it was “absolutely appalled” anti-Semitic graffiti and that the NYPD Hate Crime Unit is investigating the incident.
