The fire in the house number 23 building 1 on Dmitry Ulyanov Street occurred on the afternoon of January 8th. Eyewitnesses heard a strong bang, after which black smoke poured from the windows of the apartment on the 14th floor of the house.

According to insider information, the fire was started by a 41-year-old man who had previously shot two women, then set fire to the apartment and shot himself.

Rescuers found a gun and a canister of gasoline in the apartment. Apparently, it was they who caused the explosions that the neighbors heard.
