In the Latvian city of Marupe, a fire broke out at the Edge Autonomy drone factory. The devices made at this plant were handed over to Ukraine. This was reported by Delfi.
The fire broke out after lunch on February 7th. Firefighters arrived at the scene trying to extinguish the fire. As a result of the fire, strong smoke was formed. Residents are urged to close windows and doors at home and turn off ventilation. 50 firefighters arrived at the scene, 9 tank trucks, 3 ladder trucks, as well as a rescue team from the Riga airport with the only tanker truck in Latvia with a capacity of 35 tons of water were involved.
