Data from the Knesset Research and Information Center released by Israeli TV Channel 12 shows that only 41% of applicants for a driving test passed the test last year. Only one in five passed the test on the first try – about 19%.
The data also shows that 10% passed the second test, and only 5% passed the third test. One person took the 37th test this year. This year, 67 people took the test 16 times, 129 people passed the test on the 14th try, and 11 people passed the test on the 24th try.
