In the Irish town of Carlow, two men brought the corpse of a pensioner to the post office to receive a pension instead.

According to The Guardian, before the incident, the man came to the post office and tried to get a pension for his friend. He was refused.

After that, the deceased man himself “came” for a pension: he was supported by two men. At the checkout, the man could not "report" on his own, why he came, it was done for him by “comrades”.

This aroused the suspicions of the postal worker, the alarm was raised. The two intruders left the corpse and fled. The police have launched an investigation.
