In Iran – mass poisoning with surrogate alcohol
At least eight people have died after drinking toxic alcohol at home in Bandar Abbas, The Times of Israel reported.
The total number of poisoned people has reached 59.
It is reported that 30 people are undergoing dialysis, another 17 are in intensive care in critical condition.
Bandar Abbas police detained 8 people accused of illegal distribution of alcohol. During searches of the suspects' homes, 1,278 liters of alcohol were found.
