7 people have died in an explosion at a mine in northeastern Colombia.
The explosion occurred a few days ago, but local authorities have confirmed the incident is just recent.
El Tiempo reports.
“Authorities have confirmed the death of seven people following an explosion that occurred at a coal mine in North Santander,” the report said.
Rescuers continue to search for other people who may be trapped in the mine.
