China assessed the likelihood of a new outbreak of COVID

The likelihood of a new outbreak of coronavirus in China in the coming months is very low, as 80% of the population is already infected.

According to Reuters, this forecast was voiced by the chief epidemiologist of the Center for Control and China's disease prevention.

About three weeks ago, the British company Airfinity estimated that 9,000 Chinese people die a day from the coronavirus. About 25,000 people are predicted to die on a daily basis from January 23.

This increase in the death rate due to coronavirus in the country came after Beijing announced a significant easing of restrictions about a month and a half ago.
