 IDF investigates the theft of 30,000 rounds of ammunition from a military base in the south

Last Wednesday from the field base "Sde-Yemen" in the south of the country, 30,000 live cartridges were stolen. to Colonel Elad Tzuri, Commander of the Harel Brigade, to conduct a systematic review and learn from the conditions that made the incident possible.

It was also decided to reinforce the camp with an additional detachment of fighters, as well as to strengthen the defense measures in the area the base in general and near ammunition depots in particular.

An army spokesman stated that “The IDF will continue to work to reduce the theft of ammunition and weapons from military camps through special action plans and the allocation of resources to improve defense infrastructure.” ;.
