The famous Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake has died at the age of 85. According to Kyodo, he died on August 5, but this became known only today. The fashion designer suffered from hepatocellular carcinoma. This — a malignant liver tumor from which he died. There will be no funeral and farewell ceremony for Miyake. This was his last will. The fashion designer was born on April 22, 1938 in Hiroshima. As a child, he survived the infamous nuclear bombing. It was Miyake who developed the concept of “One Piece of Cloth”. It involves the simplest cut and an individual way of drapery.
