Ice hockey teams of Russia and Belarus excluded from the 2023 World Cup

The ice hockey teams of Russia and Belarus will not participate in the 2023 World Championship. This decision was made on May 27 by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Two teams are forbidden to take part in the championship because of the war in Ukraine. Latvia and Finland will take part in the 2023 World Cup.
