Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox soldiers parade through the streets of Jerusalem

This Wednesday morning, hundreds of soldiers of the ultra-Orthodox Neza Yehuda Battalion marched through the streets of Jerusalem. The journey began in Gan Saker and ended at the Western Wall. The march was the beginning of regimental training, which takes place in the Jordan Valley after a period of active operational activity in Judea and Samaria.

The procession was accompanied by songs and dances, which along the way were joined by local residents.

General Director of the Association "Netza Yehuda" Yossi Levy addressed the soldiers: “The battalion is the core of the integration of the ultra-Orthodox in the IDF and society and is highly respected by the IDF high command and the moderate ultra-Orthodox public,” — he said.

It should be noted that the Netzach Yehuda Battalion completed a months-long combat duty in Gush Talmonim in the Binyamin sector this week. During their service, the battalion's soldiers carried out hundreds of arrests and extensive defensive and offensive activities in the framework of ensuring the safety of citizens, for which they received much praise.
