Withdrawal lasts from 14 days
If you have just returned to Ukraine from abroad or plan to do instruction from the Ministry of health will be useful for you. The Ministry said how to properly observe the regime of self-isolation, to protect yourself and loved ones.
First, it should be remembered that self-isolation assumes a minimum of 14 days, during which you need to avoid any contact with other people. This will help to minimize the risk of infection. Also, the MINISTRY of health stressed that the invalid contact with eye to eye at a distance of less than 1.5 m and longer than 15 minutes.
You should also notify your family doctor and communicate with him to let him know about your health.
How to prepare for isolation
You should consider that you may need in the next 14 days. Need to stock up not only food but also medicines and other things that don’t need to leave the house. If possible – ask your friends and relatives, so that they provided your housing need throughout this period.
If possible, use the delivery services of food products, medicines and food. At the same time ask the courier to leave the purchase at the door. We remind you that contact should be avoided.
Warn family and friends that you will not be able to receive visitors. No harm will be a reminder that they tried without superfluous need not to leave the house.
Without a mask to leave the house is not recommended
If you do not live alone
- Solutes in a separate room, often ventilate it regularly do wet cleaning.
- If possible, use a separate bathroom and/or toilet, prepare meals and eat separately. If not – use the maximum disinfection and precautions.
- Avoid contact with other people. When this is not possible, wear a medical mask and throw it away after use or contamination.
- Strictly obey rules of personal hygiene, wash your hands often with soap and water.
Don’t forget about cleaning the house
If you need to get out of the house – use a face mask, means for the disinfection of hands, and minimize your contact with other people.
If during the isolation you find the symptoms of the disease: cough, shortness of breath, fever, diarrhoea – seek medical help, report their recent travel and contacts with people who had signs of respiratory disease.
Take care of yourself and treat isolation as responsibly as possible. Wash your hands and follow the rules of hygiene.
