About 1.4 million Israelis visited national parks and reserves during Passover.
This is reported by Ynet, citing a statement from the Nature and Parks Authority.
The most popular holiday destinations were Yarkon Park, Caesarea, Tel Ashkelon, Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, Masada, Banias Nature Reserves.
About 40,000 Israelis spent holidays at campsites.< br />
