Scientists from the UK analyzed cases of the Omicron strain and found out what symptoms are characteristic of the new strain of coronavirus. It turned out that Omicron looks more like a common cold, according to the Daily Mail.
Researchers analyzed cases of infection in London, where the Omicron strain is spreading very quickly. The most common symptoms were runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing and sore throat.
None of these symptoms are “classic” for the coronavirus, which the general public is usually alerted to.
Epidemiologist Tim Spector urged Britons to watch for Omicron's control symptoms during the holidays, when meetings with friends and family become more frequent.
