House demolition in Sheikh Jarrah: all those arrested are released
18 people arrested during the demolition of a house in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem have been released. This was stated by their lawyers, according to The Times of Israel.
The demolition of the house was scheduled to take place on Monday. However, the head of the family, Mahmoud Salhiya, threatened to blow himself up and the house if they were evicted, and the demolition of the building was delayed.
As a result, 13 Palestinians and 5 Israelis were arrested. All of them, according to their lawyers, were released.
