In the Turkish province of Nevsehir, an accident occurred with tourists who were flying in a hot air balloon. During the failed landing, two people died and three others were injured.

“A balloon with registration number TC-BBR, belonging to a private company, took off from the ruins of Zelve in the Avanos region of our province at 07:25 today in the morning, made a hard landing at 08:50 in the Killik area of ​​​​the city of Kavak, due to an unexpected increase in wind … As a result of the incident, two tourists from Spain were killed, three Spanish tourists were injured,” the local authorities said.

It is known that at the time of the accident there were two crew members and 28 tourists in the balloon basket.

A judicial and administrative investigation has been launched into the accident.
