 Hezbollah ordered to pay millions in compensation to victims of 2006 rocket attacks

The Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah ordered to pay millions of dollars in damages to a group of Americans who filed a lawsuit claiming they were wounded by missiles from a terrorist organization during the Second Lebanon War with Israel in 2006.

The amount of compensation is known to be $111 million.

Nitzana Darshan-Leitner, one of the lawyers who represents of the plaintiffs, noted that such lawsuits against terrorist organizations are difficult to enforce, but are an important legal victory against an Iranian-backed terrorist organization.
