In the near future, applications for the second wave of grants (Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives) will be accepted. Since the number of current current applications has sharply increased, it is necessary to support creative teams that are under pressure, to deprive them of sources of funding (…), a decision was made to allocate 1 billion rubles,” he said.

According to him, “these are funds that can and should be used to support cultural projects related to Russian cultural identity, traditional spiritual and moral values, support for groups and cultural figures who have become objects of sanctions pressure.”
