 Wrote for The Beatles and more: Legendary composer Bert Bacharach died

The famous American pianist and composer Burt Bacharach has died at the age of 95.

The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Burt Bacharach was the winner of three awards "Oscar" and eight Grammy Awards.

He is known for writing songs for The Beatles, The White Stripes, Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones, The Carpenters and many other celebrities. He last visited Israel in 2013.

His most famous composition was Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head (“Raindrops fall on my head”). The composer wrote it for the film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which was released in 1969.
