Haredi protests: Lapid demands punishment for those responsible for wounding a woman

Prime Minister Yair Lapid commented on the unrest at the Haredi protests in Jerusalem, in which a woman was injured. The 40-year-old victim was hit by a trash can that was thrown during a demonstration in Mea Shearim. She was hospitalized and underwent emergency surgery. The woman is in critical condition. “I wish a speedy recovery to the woman who was seriously injured last night at ultra-Orthodox demonstrations in Jerusalem. I call on the police to quickly investigate and bring those responsible to justice,” said Lapid.
