Hamas: Zionist occupation responsible for rock fall from Dome of the Rock

Hamad Hamada, Hamas spokesman in Jerusalem, issued a warning to Israel as a stone fell from the wall of the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount.

Hamada said, “We hold the Zionist occupation fully responsible for the fall of the stone from the western outer side of the Dome of the Rock.”

Hamada noted that the fall of the stone “once again exposes the crime of The occupation over the years continues to hinder restoration work inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque” and is a warning sign for the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Muslim guards stationed there.

“The occupation continues to intensify Judaization plans and systematic excavations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, exposing its buildings and places of worship to erosion, cracks and falling stones,” said Hamada.

According to him, “the heinous crimes of the occupation desecrate the sanctity of Al-Aqsa and are a provocation against the feelings of our people and our Islamic nation that will come to the aid of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.”

Hamada stressed that “our Palestinian people will stand as a wall in defense of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque by all means, the main of which will be to hold on and fight".
