Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Kanua hailed the shooting in the Jericho area on Monday that killed a 27-year-old man.
“ The shooting in Jericho was part of the response to the crimes of the Zionist occupation and the settler hordes, the latest of which was the brutal aggression against our people in Hawara”, — said al-Kanua.
“We salute the heroes of the resistance and the knights of the Lion's Den who oppose the occupation and perform heroic acts against its soldiers and herds of settlers, protecting our people and our country”, &mdash ; added a Hamas spokesman.
“Now the crimes of the occupation and its hordes of settlers will be met with further stabbings, gunfire and battering rams, and they will set fire and set fire to the entire PA and Jerusalem”, — said al-Kanua.
On Sunday, the battalion of the camp “Aqabat Jaber” military wing of Hamas “Al-Qassam Brigades” declared a general alarm in all villages and camps in Jericho in support of the inhabitants of Havar. Five fighters from this battalion were recently killed during an IDF operation in Jericho.
