Haifa: man detained on suspicion of killing his wife with a hammer

This morning (Friday), a 31-year-old woman was found unconscious in her home on Derech Ha Yam Street in Haifa. Arrived at the scene of the doctors and orderlies “Magen David Adom” found her lifeless and pronounced dead.
Her husband, about 35, was arrested on suspicion of murder after he apparently strangled her, beat her with a hammer and called the police, to report what happened. The couple has 3 children who were sleeping at the time in adjoining rooms. The police took them out of their beds.
