Greek station master arrested on charges of negligent homicide

Stationmaster suspected of causing Greece's deadliest train accident last week has been charged of negligent homicide and imprisoned on Sunday until trial.
The railroad employee will face multiple charges of murder, as well as bodily harm and endangering transport safety.
At least 57 people were killed when a northbound passenger train collided with a southbound freight train on Tuesday evening north of Larissa, Greece.
The 59-year-old stationmaster is suspected of having sent two trains going in opposite directions directions, on the same path.
The suspect's lawyer hinted that there were other perpetrators of the tragedy besides his client.
