Greece is canceling holidays due to Omicron

Greece is canceling all Christmas and New Year holidays as part of the fight against the Omicron coronavirus strain.

According to CNN, this was announced by the country's Minister of Health.

In particular, Greece is reintroducing a mandatory mask regime both indoors and outdoors. Citizens will have to wear either a double face mask or a high-security face mask to visit supermarkets and use public transport.

All festive events have been canceled and banned. Travelers were required to take tests on the second and fourth day of arrival. These restrictions will be valid until January 3, with the possibility of extension.
