In accordance with the law, the resignation of the Prime Minister entails the resignation of the entire government.
The Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, may 30, did not support the resignation of Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman. For the corresponding resolution No. 10341 voted total 97 deputies, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
Note that according to Ukrainian legislation, the resignation of the Prime Minister entails resignation of the entire Cabinet of Ministers.
During a speech before the vote, Ukraine’s Parliament stated that he never held the position, therefore, when President Vladimir Zelensky urged the Cabinet to write letters of resignation, he immediately did so. He acknowledged that far more work must be done in the state, and the political system inefficient, but with the arrival of a new President, the country has a chance to fix it.
“After the election of the President of Ukraine, I am deeply convinced, before all of us opened the possibility of consolidation for decision of topical issues on the agenda… take the necessary decisions that will change the political system that is ineffective,” — said the Prime Minister.
At the same time, according to Groisman, talking about the default in Ukraine, which are in recent times, have no reason, because he did everything to avoid this.
