From the Italian National Museum of Matera, unknown people stole the painting “Snow Effect” by Giacomo Di Chirico. The museum display of the Camillo D'Errico collection of the Palazzo San Gervasio in Potenza, of which the stolen painting is part, was located in the Palazzo Lanfranchi, according to NanoPress. Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano asked investigators to “keep the investigation confidential.”

Giacomo Di Chirico – Italian artist, one of the most significant representatives of the Neapolitan school of the 19th century. During his career, he received wide recognition, as well as several prizes and awards, including the honorary prize of the jury of the Neapolitan exhibition.
