Defense Minister Benny Gantz responded to the UN Human Rights Office on the IDF's accusations of killing Al-Jazeera journalist Shirin Abu Akle. He made the corresponding statement on Friday, June 24. "The truth about the circumstances of her death must be known— and that can only be determined by the ballistics of the bullet she was hit with, and not by investigations that have nothing to do with reality,” Gantz said.
