Professor Galia Rahav, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Sheba Hospital, commented on the reduction of the isolation period to 5 days for those who have confirmed coronavirus, Haruts Sheva reports.
“They found that after 7 days only 6% were still contagious, so it was wise to reduce the isolation to 7 days. Cut it down to 5 days – I'm really not sure about that. We need to get data on how many people get infected after such a period of time,” Rahav said.
