Full tank before midnight: from February 1, gasoline will rise in price to 7.17 shekels

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Energy, starting from midnight, the maximum price per liter of unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 95 for a consumer at a self-service station will be 7.17 shekels per liter.
Just 12 days ago, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich signed orders to reduce the purchase tax and excise tax on gasoline. The orders, which came into force three days later, were supposed to lead to an immediate drop in the price of gasoline and subsequent reduction.< br />
