In 2019, actor Kevin Hart was supposed to become the host, but he withdrew due to the scandal surrounding his harsh remarks against the LGBT community.

In 2020, the organizers again did without the host. In 2021, due to the coronavirus, the ceremony was held in a mixed format with a limited number of guests and in several places at the same time.
