First time in Israel: monkeypox diagnosed in woman

For the first time in Israel, a woman has been diagnosed with monkeypox.

According to Arutz Sheva, the woman was in close contact with a person with suspected disease.

The Israeli Ministry of Health notes that 283 people have been diagnosed with monkeypox to date. About 2,700 people have been vaccinated against the disease.

The Ministry of Health is urging those with a fever and blistering rash, as well as those who have been in close contact with a person suspected of having monkeypox, to contact with your doctor and get tested.
