Puerto Rican model Sophia Girau made history by becoming the first woman with Down Syndrome to appear in an ad for Victoria's Secret, a luxury lingerie brand. lingerie.

“I dreamed about it, I worked on it, and today this dream came true. I can finally tell you my big secret… I – first Victoria's Secret model with Down syndrome",– commented 24-year-old Girau.

She thanked the company for being seen as the model for this lingerie line.

Giraugh made her debut as a model at Fashion Week. in New York in 2020. She said at the time that she was “proud to be one of the few models with Down Syndrome who was able to take part in an important fashion event.”
